Yesterday was a repair and maintenance day. Got the bike rack repaired, had some work done on the truck, worked on the bikes and camper. Life just gets in the way of fun sometimes but has to be done, like it or not. We did get to drive WAY out on the Texas City dike in the middle of Galveston Bay and watch some more ships.
Cold again today. 50 degrees and winds gusting 40+ mph. Crazy! At least the sun finally came out. 🫤
Drove down and went walking at the state park out in the marsh. The wind kept trying to blow us off the trail but we persevered. Spotted the elusive roseate spoonbill, a pink bird kinda like a flamingo.
Back in the camper now, listening to the wind howl and feeling like we’re going to be shaken off our wheels. Might have to rig some seat belts on my recliners. 🫨
