June 3…. Cougar, and not the fun kind

We left Crater Lake RV Park this morning after a full two week stay. I loved that place and I’m really going to miss it.

When we arrived at our new campsite, we were greeted by the host, who told us “Don’t worry about the cougar, we think it’s gone”.

Turned out, a cougar has been spotted in the campground, next to his place. And then we found that he is our next site neighbor.

He says he’s seen deer so that means the cougar is “probably” gone. Hmmm.

I’m thinking the deer are WHY the cougar might be here in the first place. But who am I to second guess a campground host.
