We went to the Mount Dora Arts Festival today. Another Florida winter day, cooler than yesterday but still in the 50’s and partly sunny. All of the locals are bundled up and shivering. Nuts!
This festival is huge!!
Booths lining all of the streets around the town, hundreds of vendors and exhibits, THOUSANDS of people. A bit like the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain, but it’s a maze here. Block after block, left and right, art, food, bars, stores, people.
Susy and I learned quickly that we have expensive taste. If we had purchased every piece that we loved, it would have filled the trailer and the truck twice over, and hit our budget by $25,000. 😳
We found a place in town that specializes in French fries. How could we not try that!! I have to say, these were some of the best I’ve ever had. The Salted Fry in Mt. Dora. Give them a try. Tell them I sent you and they’ll only charge you regular price for a basket of fries.
