February 15…. Don’t crack me up

So that’s what I get for bragging about how good the roads in Texas are. We got to our campsite, opened up the camper, and a large portion of our dishes were smashed on the floor. Somewhere in the last hour of our drive, the dish cupboard popped open and all of our fine china came crashing out. Pieces and shards of glass everywhere. Not a good thing.

After Susy spent an hour cleaning up the mess, we took the bikes out to go see a waterfall and then tried something new… trail riding. This park has an extensive set of trails just begging for bikes. We ended up cycling all the roads first, then going around the outside trail loop twice. Another 7 miles today. My bike just hit 220 total miles. I’m pretty sure I’ve pedaled at least a mile of that! Crazy, right??!! The whole way around the loop trail, both times, all I could hear was Susy laughing and giggling at how much fun she was having. That cracked me up. 😉

Oh no, the dishes! Aside from that, the trail riding sounds so fun! While reading about it, I could hear my mom’s contagious laughter and joy in my head.

Aren’t those dishes supposed to be break resistant? You should write a strongly worded letter. Get some tips from Bayo 😉 If you don’t understand, ask him or Aunt Cindy about “Joe” XD

It was a massive bump we hit. That knife on the counter is pretty big, and it jumped completely out of a tall picture. The glass was on the recliners, couch, and even under the table on the opposite side of the camper.
