A busy day! Another waterfall today, earlier in the day so we didn’t have to dodge as many people.
Also, very strange, seems like every single place we’ve been on this trip, we come across a three-legged dog. What’s with that?
Went to the top of Mt Bonnell, overlooking the Colorado River (the Texas one, not the Grand Canyon version) and downtown Austin. Easy walk up and a nice view.
More trail riding on the bikes, listening to Susanne laugh and giggle around all the curves and over the bumps. Still cracks me up.
Finished our day at Texas Chili Parlor. Learned that neither of us care for the state dish of Texas, red chili with large chunky beef and no beans. Both of us zeroed in on the habanero beef and pinto bean chili. Almost too hot to stand, but with some cheese and sour cream it settled it down. The place, in downtown Austin, definitely has character. 👍👍
