September 14…. MOOOOOSE!!!

Saw an actual wild she moose today. 🫎

All of you that know me, know that I’m obsessed with moose. Can’t wait to start the first Moose Ranch in the US, and start selling moose cheese at $500/lb. Susanne and Gina are both under the weather today, so they stayed back at the camper and I went out on my own. A couple short trails, only four miles, to a pair of waterfalls.

On the way to Aster Falls, I passed several ponds, and just looked at them and said to myself, “if I was a moose, that’s where I’d live”.

And on my way back out, there she was!! WAAAY out there in that farthest pond.

Mrs (Miss??) Moose was wading in the pond, just munching away. She’d stick her head under water, blow some bubbles, and come up chewing. I must have watched her for maybe 20 minutes, and she just kept at it.

Now I just have to figure out a way to talk her into coming home with me.
