October 9…. Destiny

Is it my destiny to turn into my father?? 😯

When my sisters and I were younger, having learned to drive, dad used to send us to town with some money and tell us to get a part or a thing or whatever he needed. “It’ll be like two bucks maybe. Bring me my change.”

We’d come back and tell him “Dad it was ten bucks.” He’d swear and rant and rave about things being cheaper “back in my day” he’d say.

I needed tires for the truck today. OMG! When did this happen!! Tires are just stupid expensive “all of a sudden”. I remember buying a set, I swear it was just yesterday and they would have been half what I just paid. HALF!! Why, back in my day, you could get GOOD tires for like a hundred bucks apiece.

Miss you Dad. 😉

Next thing you will be telling Suzy she needs to pay you $2 bucks for leaving the hall light on. 😀

    1. Nope. Leave all the lights on, I don’t care. They are all LED. Two bucks will run those things for a year. 😆

I turn all the lights off when I leave a room. It drives him crazy!
