Well, the cave and the Hall of Fame were fun , but the “real” reason we made this trip was to get together with my Ohio relatives who I have not seen in quite a few years.
My cousin Jennie’s daughter Paige is graduating high school this year, so a party was just the ticket for us to plan a trip.
My favorite Auntie Pat came and that was great! I have not seen her in so long neither of us could recall when, but it was wonderful catching up with her.

My cousins John, Jamie, Katie (who lives in Atlanta so I see her fairly regularly), and Jennie were all together. Seeing them again was awesome, telling stories of us growing up, and the torments we put each other through.

John, the oldest, is 11 years younger, and Jamie a couple more, so most stories centered on how I tortured them when I was a teenager, conveniently forgetting WHY I had to torture them. 🤣🤣🤣
We all grew to be successful adults, so…. bygones, right? 😁
Getting to introduce them to Susanne was a bonus. But of course, she sided with them. “How could you do such things to those young boys!” Throwing them in a snake infested creek felt deserved, at the time. 🤔
