We’ve spent a large part of the year working on our house. Fixing. Purging. Updating. Remodeling. Landscaping. Things that have been on my wish list for a long time, so might as well do them and get to enjoy them for a while, right?
But 2027 is definitely on my radar screen, and I’m looking forward to heading out on more adventures. There’s a lot more places to go and things to see, and as much ground as we covered last year, we’ve barely scratched the surface.
As I’m in the planning stages of the journey, 2027 will be spent in the eastern parts of the US (with another foray into Canada). Atlantic coast, the Appalachians, the Adirondacks, Down East Maine, some of them places I’ve been a long time ago, many I’ve never seen.
Corolla and the wild horses are on my list, Thanks again Neal. 😁 Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, Ocean City, so much to see. A month in Maine.
If you have any suggestions, I’m still wide open. I’d be happy to add them to the map and see if we can zig or zag our way to them. 🤔
But FIRST, I have to be a grandpa. 😳
My daughter is starting our family’s next generation with a baby boy in less than a couple months, so we will have a little time to be grandparents before we head out again. Time will tell, we’ll just have to wait and see if I can tolerate this one as well as I did my own kids. Just call me Grumps. 😉
