Took Susanne to the airport yesterday to go take care of some business at home, so I’m exploring solo for the rest of the week.
On the way into this campground last week, we crossed a really nice looking bike trail, so I’ve been meaning to go check it out.
The Maple Highlands Trail. 22 miles, end to end. Nicely paved the whole way. An old railroad bed, those make the best bike routes.
I was mostly in the woods, or passing farms, but a couple times I popped out into a town. Ground hogs crossing the trail in front of me every mile.
Just an easy jaunt, I only went out 15 miles till my butt got sore. 🤨 And then had to go 15 miles back to the truck. And yes, it’s an e-bike, but I still pedaled the whole way, so it counts. 😁

Two years ago, if you had told me I’d go ride a bike for 30 miles, I would have laughed till I fell down. Funny how things change. 🤔
