June 29…. Feel young again

This week we’re camping on the banks of the Tallulah River in north Georgia. Swimming, tubing, watching the raindrops on the water. Life is good. 😀

Susy and I needed some groceries, so we headed for town, and decided to just eat dinner while we were out.

Mama G’s Italian. Pretty good if you ever make it up this way. So, we ate dinner, boxed up our leftovers, and I reached for my wallet. Uh oh. I left it back at camp. Double uh oh, Susy didn’t bring her purse ‘cause she depends on me. 😳. I wonder if they need a dishwasher. Susy can handle that.

As I headed for the truck to make the half-hour round trip back to get my wallet (leaving Susy at the table), it occurred to me to check if they take Apple Pay. They do!!

I went back to the table and had to do some quick googling to figure out how Apple Pay works. 😳. I’ve never done that before.

Call me a Millennial, I just figured out how to tap to pay with my phone. My kids will either be proud, or they’ll just shake their heads in embarrassment at their dad the dinosaur.

And we never did get those groceries. Wally World doesn’t tap. 🫤
