I forgot this but Susy reminded me…
Earlier this week, we were sitting on the beach watching the pelicans fishing and the dolphins cruising up and down, just barely outside the surf line.
We decided to go swimming and headed out to just past the breakers. It was maybe chest deep or a bit less.
As the dolphins are cruising, one of them gets closer. And closer. And closer! It passed within feet of where Susy and I were standing! 🐬
We swam with dolphins while on our cruise earlier this year, but this was the absolute closest I have EVER been to a wild dolphin. Way cool!
